Judge Accused of Helping Immigrant Escape ICE Custody Reprimanded by Mass. Top Court

The state’s top court agreed Judge Shelley Joseph did not know or authorize the defendant’s escape from the Newton courthouse in 2018 but said her actions “inadvertently created the appearance of impropriety.”
