Uber Dispute: Widow’s User Agreement Doesn’t Force Wrongful Death Claims to Arbitration, State High Court Says

“Arbitration is a matter of consent, and Uber has failed to establish that the estate or the statutory beneficiary consented to arbitrate this pending wrongful death dispute,” the Illinois Supreme Court unanimously agreed.
