HUNTSVILLE, AL—Bradley announced that Scott Burnett Smith, a partner in the firm’s Huntsville office, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers (AAAL). He has been a Fellow of the AAAL since 2016.
The AAAL’s Board of Directors consists of five officers and six directors who set strategic direction and policy, provide direction for committees, and oversee day-to-day operations. Directors serve staggered three-year terms.
Mr. Smith is the founder and chair of Bradley’s Appellate team. His practice covers healthcare payments litigation, Medicare Advantage regulatory disputes, class actions, ERISA litigation, government investigations, complex litigation, and appeals.
