J. Leland Murphree Joins Thompson Burton as Partner

BIRMINGHAM, AL—Attorney J. Leland Murphree has joined Thompson Burton, PLLC, as a partner in the firm’s Creditor’s Rights and Bankruptcy practice group, announced Walt Burton, Managing Partner.

Based in Birmingham and Huntsville, Alabama, Murphree represents debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, bankruptcy committees, receivers, trustees, investors and other stakeholders in a wide range of complex disputes and distressed matters. He primarily represents the interests of U.S. and foreign clients in business bankruptcies, receiverships, and other insolvency proceedings, as well as out-of-court restructurings, workouts and liquidations across the U.S. and internationally.
