Our technology and software analysts are hard at work assessing the Unified Court System’s digital networks and infrastructure to try to diagnose the potential impacts and deliver solutions to the widespread Microsoft outage issues that have emerged today. — Al Baker, director of communications for the New York Office of Court Administration, in a statement given on how today’s global technology outage has affected the New York court system. A source told the New York Law Journal that “[c]ourt employees arrived at work to find their desktop systems were inaccessible,” and further noted that “[d]esktops across the system were rendered inoperative.” Baker, however, added, “No significant disruptions to in-person, courthouse operations are being confronted so far.”
