The EU executive is working furiously to conclude an investigation into whether X breached the bloc’s tough content moderation standards, but warned that any decision would be challenged in court by top-notch lawyers.
The European Commission is “working as fast as possible” to conclude an investigation into whether X breached the EU’s content moderation rules, a senior official said today.
Referring to their investigations into social networking site X and other tech giants, Rita Wezenbeek, director of the unit that handles enforcement of the Digital Services Act, said her teams were doing their best to “bring the cases home” during an EU parliamentary debate today.
