“Grip essentially alleges that the entire project was a ruse: Uber falsely expressed interest in licensing or acquiring Grip’s technology, and wrongfully enticed Grip to participate in the Brazilian pilot program while intending to steal or reverse engineer Grip’s technology,” Suffolk County Superior Judge Debra A. Squires-Lee said.
