President Donald Trump pledged to end the “weaponization” of the Justice Department at its headquarters in Washington, D.C., on Friday, laying out sweeping priorities for the department, including cutting down on crime, drugs and illegal immigration, while taking aim at the “crooked law firms.”

Trump also painted the attorneys who played parts in prosecutions against him and his adversaries as partisans, calling the prosecutors who investigated him “deranged.”
