Two unnamed student athletes sued University of Michigan, ex-football coach Matthew Weiss and other defendants after Weiss was indicted by the U.S. Department of Justice for allegedly downloading thousands of students’ intimate photos and videos.
On March 20, the U.S. Department of Justice announced in a news release that Weiss, the 42-year-old former quarterbacks coach at University of Michigan, was charged with 14 counts of unauthorized access to computers and 10 counts of aggravated identity theft.
