Over five years after the merger between Am Law 100 firm Duane Morris and New York City-based Satterlee Stephens was finalized, the two legacy firms finally share one office in the Big Apple.
The consolidation of the 135-attorney New York office—second in size to only Philadelphia among the firms’ 22 U.S. offices—has been a long time in the making. Satterlee Stephens and Duane Morris merged about a month before the COVID-19 pandemic came into full swing in 2020, throwing a wrench into the firm’s integration plans as most people began working from home.
