An Ohio state trial court ruling has ended the long-running Triad v. Westlake litigation, and confirmed a $70 million jury verdict and judgment against Westlake Chemical Corp. Houston’s Yetter Coleman won the unanimous verdict for Expand Energy, formerly known as Southwestern Energy, after a three-week trial in 2022. After three years of unsuccessful appeals, Westlake paid the $76 million judgment, including interest, in full.
