A summer associate from Cahill Gordon echoed these sentiments, saying, “It’s embarrassing and disheartening when pitbull law firms cower. Clients should demand more from their firms.“ When asked how much they agreed with the sentiment that the legal profession’s independence was being challenged by the Trump administration, about two-thirds of respondents said “agreed” or “strongly agreed.”
