Federal prosecutors in California are asking a judge to sentence Tom Girardi’s “right-hand man,” the former head of accounting at Girardi Keese, to more than 10 years in federal prison.

In papers filed ahead of an April 11 sentencing hearing in Los Angeles, prosecutors wrote that Christopher Kamon, 51, played an “essential role” in a massive fraud masterminded by founding partner Tom Girardi, who was convicted last year on four counts of wire fraud.
