Finalists have been named for the 2024 American Legal Technology Awards, which honor exceptional achievement in various aspects of legal technology, and this year, there is a twist for me: I’m honored to say I’m one of them.
The awards recognize achievement in various categories related to legal technology, such as by a law firm, an individual, or an enterprise.
This year, the awards add a new category, journalism, in which I am a nominee, along with Stephanie Wilkins, editor-in-chief of ALM’s Legaltech News, and Victor Li, assistant managing editor of the ABA Journal (and both of whom are regulars on my Friday Legaltech Week show).
Another new category this year recognizes achievements in artificial intelligence.
The awards will be presented on Oct. 6 at a gala dinner on the eve of the Clio Cloud Conference in Austin, Texas. The dinner will be held in an off-site event venue, the Barr Mansion.
