Mr. Winters is an accomplished attorney with nearly 20 years of experience in fund formation and related corporate matters. Admitted to practice law in both the US and the UK, he guides US and international clients through the regulatory, transactional and corporate governance challenges related to investment management, particularly in the UK/EU market, bringing valuable skills to Eversheds Sutherland’s global fund formation capabilities.
Mr. Winters, who joins from NY-based Morrison Cohen, advises financial institutions on the structuring and distribution of investment funds domiciled in the US, Europe, and Offshore jurisdictions, with an emphasis on those employing alternative strategies, including assisting private equity firms with the acquisition, disposal, and operation of portfolio companies.
