 Jamie Lawless, CEO of Husch Blackwell, in comments given to the American Lawyer, on why being a “serial lateral” is no longer necessarily seen as a problem when it comes to law firm hiring. According to Leopard Solutions, those who made a third, fourth, or higher lateral move between 2017 and 2024 was on the rise. By 2024, 21% of lawyers had made at least two lateral moves.
